Faith Shields

Waiting on God early one morning, I saw a vision of the church (including those at work) dressed in the armour of God, with particular reference to their faith shields.

I recalled the roman army’s battle strategy called ‘lock-shields’, where they would press their shields together for impenetrable unity towards an assured victory.

Similarly, when we walk with God in faith - 'Father's Authority In True Hearts' - there is an intensity of love, togetherness and purpose which transcends ordinary human relationships.

"In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able
to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!"

In the Heat of Battle
‘Yes’, it's hot in the midst of battle at work.
But we are gaining a victory with every faith-step taken.
It is exhilarating, death defying and victorious.

It is Christ and His throne room company, and then just us.
Playing our simple part amongst a throng of mighty warriors.
What an outstanding privilege to be invited here, kings with the King.

Establishing something of holy permanence.
Dad’s kingdom of Light penetrating earth's darkness.
For ever. Awesome!

"Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors,
and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!"
