Suitcases of Treasure

Suitcases of heavenly treasure
Suitcases of heavenly treasure
A common saying is,
'People come into this world with nothing and leave with nothing.'

Except this isn’t true for those in-Christ.

You see, Jesus called us to be eternally significant when He said,

"You did not call me,
but I called you to bear fruit - fruit that will last."

So, our work with God now becomes something that will last forever, not temporal or fleeting.

Jesus also pinpointed work of eternal value when He encouraged us to,

“Stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen
and will never rust, decay, or lose their value.
For your heart will always pursue what you esteem as your treasure.“

We call them
‘Suitcases of Treasure’

With all this in place, far from having 'nothing', we can leave this life with spiritual riches in 'suitcases of treasure' that have been accumulated on earth through close relationship with God, to be used in the next world.

How full are your cases today?
