A Storm in a Teacup

 

 

Hemmed in on all sides!

Watching the news used to fill me with dread and insecurity.

God gave me a name for it, calling it my "storm in a teacup living".

Clearly, He was pointing out that this was not a healthy way to live.

I agreed with His view. It was scary being hemmed in by tall, slippery sides, feeling only the storms of modern life!

He then reminded me of my inheritance in Christ, and presented me with an alternative lifestyle. He called it "widening my boundaries", which spiritually took me beyond the 'teacup' restrictions into His eternal realm. So, now I live in an ever-widening experience of His world.

God's world is like a wide panoramic view on a beautiful day!

 

You see, as children of Father God, we were not designed to live inside the restrictions of 'teacups', but to soar like eagles above the earthly chaos.

Flying high above the storm.

With this new freedom through trusting in God,

you’ll be enabled to see life from heaven’s brighter perspective.
