Kingly Business

Is your business fit for THE King?

Are you someone who loves God with all your heart and longs to reflect Christ and have more of His presence in the life of your business?

I believe that Jesus shares your passion and exceeds even your own!
If so, I would call you a ‘Kingdom Pioneer’.

But what if your desire is not being fulfilled.
Why is this?

The answer may well depend upon your response to this question:

Whose world are you living in?

To help you understand why I'm asking this, let’s drop in on a famous conversation, recorded in John 18:36-38,
In answer to a question from the Roman governor, Pilate, Jesus replied,

“The royal power of my kingdom realm doesn’t come from this world. If it did, then my followers would be fighting to the end to defend me from the Jewish leaders. My kingdom realm authority is not from this realm.”
Then Pilate responded, “Oh, so then you are a king?”

“You are right.” Jesus said, “I was born a King, and I have come into this world to prove what truth really is.”
(TP translation)

Here we can see that Pilate was spiritually blind to the true reality of Jesus. He did not look like a king! Where were his fine clothes, wealth, and power? The very idea was absurd. At the same time Jesus knew exactly who He was and where He was returning to.

They lived in two very different worlds!

So, what is a Kingdom Pioneer?

Jesus did not copy the world’s ways of gaining power and success. He had no need to, for He already possessed a significant identity in another world as its King. This position held far greater authority than anything this earth could offer.

A typical worldly stereotype of an ambitious business leader is someone with an overriding drive for money and power.
In contrast, Kingdom Pioneers are passionate friends with Jesus, residing in the vine, ready to obey a will not their own. (See John 15:1-17)

These pioneers, like Jesus, don’t look or act like kings on earth. They are not in business for the money, though they may become rich. Neither are they working for the prestige, though fame and influence may follow.

They have seriously purposed, first and foremost, to work with God. As such they are zealous about being shaped and developed by His designs for them, both personally and corporately, reflecting their Lord and master King Jesus.

As such, their businesses carry a heavenly authority by reflecting the King who resides and displays His majesty in day-to-day work activities.

This is proving what truth really is.

So, my final question to you is this,

Are you living in Jesus’ world?

If not, and you want to, just follow these simple steps:

1. Tell Jesus you want to live in His kingdom realm
2. Ask Him to help you reflect His likeness at work
3. Worship Him and follow His loving instructions

Welcome to kingdom pioneering!
